2 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
Small package chocolate bits
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Beat well the eggs, salt, and cream of tartar.
Gradually add sugar and vanilla. Then fold in chocolate bits and nuts.
Cook on brown paper for 25 minutes at 300°
